Towards a better future

The article is very one sided and the writer seems to be unaware of Uefa's Financial fair play regulation which mandates that all clubs must balance there books over a period of 3 years starting summer 11.
Arsenal under AW has very sensibly invested in future instead of buying overpriced established stars.Teams like Chelsea and Manchester twins with their disproportionate income to spending ratio are living on borrowed life and will surely fall foul Uefa's financial fair play regulations.
The result could be a player purchase embargo on the offending clubs and a blockage on playing in the lucrative european club competitions. In such a scenario ,Arsenal under AW's prudent approach to football finance is extremely well placed to snap up talented and creative players at good price.
So the decline that the writer alludes to is a temporary blip towards a far better future and to remain ahead of the pack when the Financial fair play regulations start to bite the "sugar daddy" owned clubs.

In order to pass the ball you need players like Xavi,Iniesta. Do arsenal have that. they need quality players like wesley snjeider, Edin Hazard, Mario Goetze and a top striker like Higuain, Ibrahimovic,Cavani to help Van Persie.

Nice article, rightly said, I used to love to watch arsenal matches for their shear exciting attacking football. But after fabregas left them there is no one as good as him to pass the ball to RVP upfront which has taken the sheen of arsenal football

Passing the ball around without scoring does not get much. Jose Mourinho is a much better coach who realizes the objective of the game is to win it. no body remembers the team which comes second.
