I fully Agree.....DOW is NOT responsible for the Bhopal Gas Tragedy......BUT, They DID BUY Union Carbide Business in India...Knowing Fully Well...the Background of the reasons for UC exiting India...Hence, They cannot NOW claim that THEY DID NOT KNOW....!!!!...Their Culpability need NO FURTHER PROOF..!!!. About GOI leaving the victims to their Fate etc....We are all well aware that these MNCs would have thrown " Some Bread Crumbs " to the " RIGHT PEOPLE " WOULD HAVE GOT THEIR PAPERS CLEARED "....NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS NOW.!!!!!... BUT WHAT CAN BE DONE IS....... GOVT. CAN BAR DOW FROM OPERATING IN INDIA EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AND BLACKLIST ALL THOSE WHO DEAL WITH DOW.....!!!!!!... WILL GOVT. DO IT.....??? DO THEY HAVE THE GUTS? WE ALL KNOW THE TRUTH....!!!!
The government of India has accepted the claim from UC under court order & has done very little for those affected.Dow has no legal obligations for liability of UC settled with GOI.We are in habit of making noise for wrong reasons & shed crocodile tears

you just showed your ignorance. stay in school a little longer son. The people who were responsible for Bhopal disaster are long gone, and Union Carbide exists no more. If you guys have a problem then it should be with the gov's acceptance of the settlement amt and its distribution to the affected people.
