Sad decision
by Ashish Sharma on Dec 29, 2012 11:38 PM

Does the court means rules of a tournament is more important that the security and life of the player? Right to defend oneself is the foremost right, and in my opinion club did the right thing by not playing to defend its player from any prospective injury by some insane people in the crowd who cause serious injury by throwing stones either due to fun or hatred.

I strongly condemn the punishment on Mcdowell Mohun Bagan Club given by AIFF. MMB should move to FIFA for justice. FIFA should ban AIFF for such a fabricated misdeed against Mcdowell Mohun Bagan.

Why was Bagan punished for a match organized by East Bengal? Bagan seem to have been affected most by the incidents of the match. Why were they punished and not EB?

Seems like you are MB fan, Bagan is punished for it has done. All said and done, whatever happens, one has no right to stop the game, the game is above all. Get rid of Anjan Mitra and Debasish Dutta, things will be fine. These two are taking the club into new low. This is wil be a clear message for all others in future too. Bagan was afraid of consuming at least six the other day that's why they simply took a hide.

Also, even in the recent Copa Sudamericana final in South America, where Sao Paulo faced Tigre, the Tigre players refused to come out after HT because they feared their safety. That's perfectly all right. Their safety is their own call. They weren't suspended. I don't see why the Indian League needs to resort to such drastic measures. Surely they're shooting themselves in the foot by banning a club which contributes a lot to Indian football and has a large fanbase.

To become a MB fan, you do not need to live in India or Bengal. For you info, this is totally different situation. First try to get all the info correctly then comment on something. MB played for a minute after the issue then half time was taken, then they refused to play. If there was a security issue then why did they play for a minute till half time?

Clearly, when they regrouped at half-time, they made a collective decision to refuse to play. It was their call. I really see no sense in your argument.

Yes, the is the effort of all EB Fans, EB promoted officials like Subrata Dutta to keep the image of club for doing Gandhigiri and to accept all decissions of IFA ( ruled by all EB supporters ) and to gift the matches to EB contineously by accepting all decissions against MB.

Let's accept the decission and start qualifying from 2nd Division of I-Leage but not to bent down our head to the corrupt IFA / AIFF officials.

Moreover, we the supporter of MB also should keep our patience. The happenings what is going on in our club in recent 2-3 years is largely due impatience of our Fans whose immediate demand is success. Now a days the supporters filling stadium are mostly un educated, drunkerd fellows, who are filling stadiums uttering Slangs without understanding the football. Let's bring back a good environment in the club first. Good coach, Footballers, Trophy's everything will come automatically.

Dear Deepak, why 6? why not 16? Are you an astrologer who can predict that EB will net 6 goals. There are instances that even with 10 players the trailing club won the match.

The last line of your message towards the indication of Six allow me to consider yourself under the category of largely appeared MB Fans now a day's.

Yes I am a MB Fan and being proud about it. It's a democratic club. In election if the present officials thrown away by the electorate they will be automatically left the club. But , I must accept that these are the officials who atleast show us the way of not accepting all the manupulated decissions of IFA and AIFF.

If both the teams have the same home ground, then there is no home/away consideration.

Secondly, MB could have fielded the team and then request match officials to stop the match. They did not know the rules of the game and hence thought of blaming EB for the entire incident. But their decision had a boomerang effect and backfired them only.

Bagan deserved this, Bagan should have also thought that they are such a prestigious club before doing this. Anjan and Debasish will show many more black days in future. Bagan fans, wake up and get rid of these guys. Do not blame others for your misdeeds.

Bad decision by AIFF

Without MB Indian Football is ZERO..........
The match was organised by East Bengal. They cannot managed it proper way, but they managed referee. EB should be punishing.
