Congrats!!! Roger. He has once again proved that he has a lot of tennis left in him even after 30. He is winning not just matches but trophies which speaks lot about his brilliance. Whatever Rafae's fans say, he is the best and the greatest of tennis players of all times.

Don't you think, that any 'greatest player of all time' should be beating all the players of his time on a consistent and regular basis? Federer clearly fails this test. This win was great though. I was not expecting him to win. He is certainly looking hot.

Dear Venkat: Let us rephrase it this way. Rafa is the greatest on clay. Federer is the greatest Tennis player, and the second best on clay. H2H is irrelevant in a field of 128. Ultimate victory is what counts. I hope you are satisfied.

Well, no tennis player in d history has comprehensively dominated tennis for so many years. He has won almost all of the 3 slams from 2003 to 2009. Plz tell any other player who has dominated tennis like federer

Had he would have defeated Nadal on a regaular basis then you would have said there is no one to challenge him and it's the weakest era of tennis. So he should not be called as GOAT. These things are all subjective what matters is no. of titles, consistency, Grand slams, No. 1 position. If Nadal wins everything and in doing so if he never meets Rosol again then Nadal will never be called greatest as his H2H against Rosol will remain against him.
