Congrat to Yogi

He was very unlucky, as he lost only one bout to the Russian, in toss the first two periods, otherwise the way he was playing, he could have beaten the Russian. The Russian who is the world champion eventually got the gold. In all other matches he played, he destroyed his opponents. Great show Yogi

Yogeshwar DOES it when Hockey doesn't

Yogeshwar does it when Hockey doesn't.
A real hero of India. I even missed my favourite movie on TV and was glued to Sports channel throughout and Yogeshwar didn't disappoint me and all Indians even 1 bit. After losing in Quarterfinal, he still had a chance for medal (BRONZE that is) and he had his task cut out. He had to win 3 Repechage matches in a row which he actually did... 3 matches within 1 hour is not at all easy in a tough sport like Wrestling where the body's pain ensurance would get tested. OUR INDIA's Yogeshwar through his sheer grit and determination and the will the achieve what he missed by a whisker at Beijing 2008 Olympics, did win his prize. He achieved what the hockey team of India couldn't achieve. He gave us Indians a wonderful day to remember. In doing this he also has inspired fellow wrestler, the great Olympic bronze medallist SUSHIL KUMAR to go on and win more precious METAL (Gold or Silver) than what he got in the last Olympics. Sushil is on at 1.30 pm (IST) today and a nation PRAYS he wins Gold (Our last HERO standing .... A hope from a billion hearts for that precious shiny, yellow metal with the embossing "London 2012"). Jai Ho !

Hats off to Yogeshwar Dutt.

Awesome win buddy

I think wrestling is a very demanding sport which needs so much amount of psychical strength and endurance and to beat the last opponent with such convincing fashion speaks volume of his talent.
I strted watching wrestling after Sushil's feat in last olympic and I think it is such a eye catching sport...beautiful to watch good wrestling. I have seen Alexander Karelin (The Legend) in Greco Roman but watching Indian Wrestlers winning in such a fashion is awesome !!

I've witnessed this bout live on T.V. set. Really, yogeshwar dutt was superb. I feel even he could have won gold too if luck would have been in his favour. These are those Indians who bring glory to us unlike rogue politicians.

on T.V.

The way he performed in repechage,in fact he deserved the gold..

Your effort would go down in the history of GRT INDIANS.Non of the boxers lived upto the expectations , great job done by wrestlers. I think all this effort this Olympics shpuld be a platform to better in times to come in future games.
