Sushil Kumar has the right spirit
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Aug 14, 2012 03:48 AM

Sushil Kumar has the right spirit to win the Olympic gold. With such meager budget the Indian team's performances were remarkable. India will make steady and sure progress in the Olympics and they will further improve their performances in the Commonwealth and Asian Games.

Indians are contented to live like the frog in the well with their pseudo-democracy or dynastocracy.

Soniaji,amul baby zindabad.

India's strengths :

1.Lazy cricket(played by 10 countries).

2.Bollywood-song,dance and dishum dishum - no story.

3.Corruption.

Cricket was invented by the Englishmen for standing in the sun in their cold country to get a tan and warm their bodies.
Nobody except the people in the Indian sub-continent take cricket seriously.

British PM said no to bollywood dance.
When will our PM say no to british leftover lazy cricket?

A thousand miles journey is stated with single step. Indians are not content, but this is the move in the right direction.
But we do have to break free from the shackles of colonialism, starting with Engleesh.

Best-ever individual? Abhinav Bindra won individual gold in 2008
by Another Critic on Aug 13, 2012 06:29 AM  | Hide replies

What is the criteria for the title "best-ever individual olympian"?

Is it the best performance by an individual at olympics? Or is it the number of medals won by an individual at olympics? I think it is former.

Very determined effort. Missed his final game. Wrestling at these top positions is very cruel type indeed.

congrats Shushilji for leading India.

Gold would have been awesome.

even other finalist bit an opponent in 66kg quaterfinal
by guy on Aug 12, 2012 11:02 PM

i am copy pasting this from a website which is true
"In his quarterfinal match in the men's 66 kilogram weight class, Haislan Veranes Garcia of New Westminster, British Columbia lost to Japan's Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu 0-1, 1-0, 5-0 despite being bit on the finger by Yonemitsu in the third round.

The referee, Marco Masi of Italy, failed to penalize Yonemitsu for the incident because he did not see the infraction occur. Yonemitsu also received no disciplinary action from judge Uwe Manz of Germany or Bahman Talebi Ghazan Aala of Iran."
