You are correct. The side effects of non-veg food can be reduced through proper exercise.
Sportspersons may take animal food since it has been proved scientifically that meat acts like a stimulant just like drugs that boost energy in the body.I am talking about the kind of banned drugs in olympics.

It is basically a trade-off.One may take meat provided he or she burns it off through heavy exercise.
But most people are not ready to do this.
Humans are herbivorous and fruitivorous by nature.Meat eating is not natural to us.Westerners say that humans are omnivorous but it is not correct. The human body do have the capability to take the brunt of the harmful effects of meat.
Any life system when put under strain, its longevity will naturally be reduced.I believe you understand my points?

Human physiology is very similar to animals like cow, giraffe etc. and not at all similar to that of lions or tigers. So a vegetarian diet is best.

u s'd thank yr lucky stars that u were indeed born in early 70s and mercifully not during mid fifties and in process saved yr skull from getting trifurcated by the fearsome quickies holding/garner/robert/imran/lili/thompson.......

with india's increasing emergence as a sure-footed sporting nation, the uncouth hegemony of cricket "ll hopefully be seriously challenged and these tin gods/tinhorns /jumped-up (a bunch of big fish in a small pond)cricketers fail oh-so in turning heads.

From the bottom of my heart I want more and more sushils, Yogeshwars, narangs, vijays who have in them to send these bl00dy dullish circketers packing.

What a joke! You are talking about someone who is playing for records and money and certainly for the country. We want Bolts and Yohans as our Heroes and not Sachins and Sehwags who play for IPLs.

Arun, "we can meet up" does not mean "come and meet me".... :)

"look forward to meeting you when you are back" does not mean "Come to me when you are back" :)

TRP man it's all about that. Take any other sports, add cricket to it and article is hit. Plus add Sachin tadka and it's smashing hit! These guys make up news and then people hating cricket or Sachin, people loving other sport or people hating everything all of them come here and scores TRP for media! :)

It's all for business.
