Talk Less Do More....All these Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Archery, Boxing the ones who basked in media attention before Olympics flopped. Saina Nehwal rarely spoke & the rest shooters & wrestlers we had hardly any hopes from them.

how can they be no.1 when they cant even qualify the semis?from where did they become no.1 ?
Absolute shame, When we have people like Kalmadi wiping all the money for his good and politicians more concerned about their individual gains/money how can these sorry athletes get the world class training required to prepare for a major event like the olympics. If India ever wants to dream for even one gold at the olympics we citizens must first fight for a clean system --- Looks a distant dream at the moment.
It is a shame that archers of the country of eklavya, arjun and karn need a foreign coach. The players are not mentally strong and capable of taking pressure of big events like that of olympics. The indian media and people also create undue pressure by repeatedly showing their expectation rather then keeping the event a news until they have won.
Prior to departure, the archers were trained in China border in Sikkim in cold condition as a preparation for London olympics. Limba Ram had no geographical and climatic knowledge about London and he thought London is a cold place. He did not listen to the suggestions of Talukdar and Deepika to avoid cold weather.
However,London is not cold at this time of the year.As a result, all archers succumbed to fever once they reached London coming from cold weather.
This made the archers weak and they had no strength when the olympic started and they miserably failed.

Don't be a sour puss. Indians lost because of lack of talent. 20% of the world's population and cannot get even 2% of the world's medals. Thank goodness for China, else Asia would have been embarassed.

Madam, please always know one thing that nos of medals that are to be won in Olympics does not depend on population of any country but it depends on how many people are playing how many games that are played in Olympics and what standards of facilities are provided to them. It all depends how you are exposed to the best of training system and things have started changing in India because so far our main focus was to eradicate our basic challenges like food, shelter, better life prospects and with rising nos of middle class in India people's approach towards looking to sports as a career is growing. It will sure happen that India will surelt find its place in first top ten countries in Medal Tally.

That is indeed sad. But in this day and age, these sort of issues shoould be resolved through concrete data. A quick google search / wiki search reveals that London is not hot at this time, in fact it is quite sunny, barring the rains that come now and then.
