Sandhu will not take the decision to retire for at least the next four years and will also be there in the next Olympics. The decisions he takes very quickly are not to lodge protest for the Indian boxers who were undone by judges resorting to cheating in allocation of points because in his own words "Nothing comes out of such protests".
