can rediff cant count properly. why he shows india down in the medal tally, where INDIA stands actually

Its an international level competition where all countries are participating, not like cricket where 12 nations participate...understand the level of competition and 4 years of training that go into an Olympics before making statements like " nto going for the kill"

Though we were expecting to watch you in the Final after that masterclass you displayed in the Quarters, there is no taking away any credits from you for winning Bronze!
Well done, Mary! You've indeed made the nation proud by helping achieve our highest ever medal haul. Yes, it is sad but true- 4 is our highest ever!
You could have gone ahead, no doubts, but perhaps our performing athletes have too much pressure to make up for the lost medals! Great show Mary, now you can retire whenever you wish, with pride and a sense of achievement, without doubt!
