Till date India has won 23 medals in all at Olympics
by rainy frog on Aug 08, 2012 09:44 AM  | Hide replies

As compared to US 2296, Soviet 1010, Germany 851, Britain 715. As long as we keep worshipping Cricket Players dont expect other sports to grow in this country.

rainy frog, as Indian population increases in other countries their medal increase rate will come down gradually. Day will come when all the world population will be Indian - the end of this planet.

She didn't play to her potential. Rightfully, she was a bit tense. She can make the chinese remember their nannies when in full flow. She can win Gold.

Mannu at his stupidest best

The PM said, 'We expected gold, but happy that you won bronze'. I promised him that I will go for it (gold)," she said.

Perhaps Mannu is not aware that medals are not sold at Olympics. You have to compete to earn it.

I hate PM's comment, its demotivating in a way. Anyways, common sense is not so common.

What other statement would have made you happy sir ?

Example:
"You would have lost the bronze as well, luckily for you the other player retired ? !!"

India is happy for you.

Of all the Olympic participants from India you were the most quiet one before the event. So I was very very sure you would certainly get a medal for India.

You are the best we have. Wish you lots and lots of success and good health to stay fit.
