These should be state of the art facilities including, indoor swimming pools, velodromes, stadiums and lakes which train athletes in all Olympic sports From Archery... to Weighlifting.
Foreign coaches should be flown in on stints. Indian coaches, psychologists, sports analysts, trainers, nutritionists, doctors and athletes should all be housed on each IOTC campus.
2 IOTCS should be in the North-East. One in Assam and another in Manipur.
5 other IOTCS should be in Shimla, Ghaziabad, Pune, Bangalore and Coimbatore.
A Sports budget of 10 crores should be allocated towards each center each year and Indian companies should step forward to sponsor promising athletes in every sport.
Only intensive training and a state of the art setup which caters to the best of the best can turn things around for India.
This opens a large opportunity for youngsters in India to find carers in sports and promote a sporting culture in our nation.
We want the future generation of Indians to be Strong, healthy, athletic and energetic.
Why the silver medalist Vijay is not talked much about, even after his teffific achievement. Why only Gagan, saina and now MaryCom. Does the media understands that silver better than bronze. Sorry Vijay !
figuring out how much more money he can make? Give importance to all these atheletes. People of north, northwest, and western india need to realize not everyone in India watches Bollywood movies and follow cricket.
