With limited training facilities and negative sporting atmosphere and gender bias back home,it is commendable to finish 7th in the world.Good effort Poonia.

Even Irfan deserves kudos for finishing 10th among 56 participants in 20 km race walk.

Our merit is in Commonwealth games (Only threat is Australia in CWG) and SAFF games.In these games there are no China,Korea,Japan,etc.

In Asian games,we have improved to sixth position last time.

In olympics,our progress is very slow and India will be in top 10 by 2024.
