even if we try hard for next olympics with full force. its next to impossible. coz chinese dominace is increasing at exponential rate and its very predictable that all the countries will be engulfed by chinese tsunami by next decade. red dragons are on hunting spree.
India started playing hockey since beginning of 19th century and competed in Olympics since 1926 - beginning of the golden era of Indian hockey till 1956 it own all olympic golds. Hockey is india's national game and has a huge emotional and historical attachments.
South Korea recognised the game of Hockey in the year 1988. Till 1995 hockey was played only as a game in official circuits (there was only one state Hockey team) at a national level. i.e. there is no fan following from universities or general public.
India and South Korea have faced each other atleast 25 - 30 times in the past and South Korea have won at least 15 times.
Of late South Korea has been beating India convincingly and tellingly that ones not sure who played the game longer.

"Face Dude" ...get ur facts right man.......South Korea recognised the game of Hockey in the year 1988...lolz.......what a joke..... South Korea won the Asian games gold medal in 1986 upsetting champions Pakistan and India for the first time ever.....this is 2 years earkier than ur 1988...and South Korea is no weakling team... they have always been top 3 in Asia in the last 30 years.....
Hockey India should apologize for not letting the Indian National team players play in the WSH.Even many Pakistan national team members played in it.The national team members could have played alongside stars like Livermore,Almada,Henwood etc.I feel very helpless.
