Saina ratteled her opponent
by Raja on Aug 05, 2012 01:29 PM

Saina ratteled her opponent when she was 20-14 down and came back to 20-19. That nervesness made the chinese jump too hard making her sprain her leg. Good one Saina.

With 14 golds and overall 29 Medals.

Simply Unbelievable. Great Achievement by a tiny country.
We should learn a thing or two from Britishers.

Sports enthu in India

is simply not there. Rediff only telecasts cricket matches - even England vs SA test match. Sports is not flourishing in India because Indians are not enthusiastic about sports.

Says who? Indians are definitely enthu about games, albeit Games for the Chair or Bed Games etc. No wonder we have World record of Politicians & Population.

Dad you have become grand dad. Had Saina got injured you would say that she is not fit to play. You can only see the negative side of everything. Let us learn to appreciate good efforts. Last night Krishna poonia finished 7th in Discuss throw no Indian had reached that position before so let us also congratule her as well without cribbing.

But Xin_Wang got injured trying to defeat Saina. She put extra pressure on herself in the begining and lost virtually.

Please donot demean the achievement of Saina.Li_Xuerui who won the gold in olympics was defeated by Saina in the final of Indonesian open a month ago. So,she deserved even a gold medal if luck was on her side..

there were still 2 games and margin of loss in firts game was very thin. So anything could have happned. It is for u as to how u take it. But in anycase ur reaction is negative, which should not be ,

Dear Dad.Saina has been hot under the heels of the Chinese for years. It was only a matter of time, one of them crumbled under her pressure.Rather than complaining,go pick up a badminton racket and see how difficult it is to play.Go and play against those fast Chinese players. You will wet your pants.By the way, what are you proud of exactly?
