US-Brit lobby
by paper india on Aug 05, 2012 10:27 AM

The US-Britain lobby is going all out in the games trying to keep China at bay. Millions are being spent and as a result, competitors from other countries are being victimized. Shame in the lazy Brits, they cannot measure upto the dedicated Chinese and have therefore resorted to the game they play best.

Technique Vs firepower Vs decision Vs sportsmanship Vs indians
by saina sania on Aug 04, 2012 08:37 PM

Man , dont be an indian looser

it needs lot of everything to become a winner on the most competitve games of world

decision reverted is itself a shame
considering the one goal and its emotion involved for the sportsman

if they had to reverse the decision why in first place they declared him winner ? OA has to respect its decisions for whatever reasons or miscalucations it has been made once.
it is not a joke to declare someone winner

and in this game of strength , stamina and firepower , where was this indian behind against his competitor ?
at the most respecting everyone , they could have rescheduled the bout or shared points but not this blunder , unbelievable wonder.
learn to support your fellows , you looser indians !

and you looser bf indians , when you say you are patriotic , have guts to prove that !

Yes, we shd withdraw our squad from the oly.The badminton match was rigged and japs lost. The sangwan match went against us...the appeal was also thrown out in both cases. Now this.If the comm can review this case then, why not earlier cases? The winner became the loser and in all three cases it was India that suffered....where is justice.

I think non of you must have seen the bout, It was in the wee hours. There might be discrepancies in some of the decisions, but in this particular case we were surprised to see how decision came in favour of India. (Pls note that I am as patriotic as all of you)

Absolutely. The American was the better boxer. And Vikas himself was shocked at having been declared the winner. I'm not saying I'd love to see a bit of luck go our way, especially after the bit of bad luck we had in the earlier boxing matches, but the jury can't be faulted for overturning the decision.

Send a strong message to America.

This is a clear bias against India by America and its allies.Otherwise why wasn't the Sangwan decision overturned similar to this decision.I think if the Vikas krishnan verdict stays overturned by the judjes inspite of the appeal, this is a clear slap on the face of India. Then India should pull out its entire squad from this Olympics and send out a strong message to America.AMERICA MUST REALIZE INDIA IS NOW A NUCLEAR SUPER POWER HAHAHA.......

OLYMPIC SPIRIT AND FAIRPLAY IN SHORT SUPPLY IN LONDON !
by damodaran mohan on Aug 04, 2012 04:46 PM  | Hide replies

W/o going into the merit of the Indian camp appeal it can easily be said that everything doesn't seem to be OK with the way no. of results of Boxing bouts are courting controversies. In fact some of the umpires have been relieved for incompetence or whatever reason by the London games organizers themselves !All such controversies whether in Boxing or in Badminton..doping charges.cheating by with mastery on use of 'Masking' agents to avoid drugs detection by leading medal winning countries ...all make a mockery of the "spirit" and 'fairplay' of the Olympics touted much at the start of the game.
