Today's match is crucial
by mang on Aug 03, 2012 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

So far in the games, all her opponents are ranked either lower to her or too old than her, so no wonder she got through all these hurdles. In fact, when the draw for each group announced, media has predicted that she would reach the semi finals for sure. So, today's match against no. 1 is very important and hope Saina would do well against her and get into finals.

Lower or to old is not our problem they are the best of the country they are representing.
Who cares if they are lower grade or old. we are only interested in Saina.
Others can KOA.

Guys ..spare a thought for Kashap. He played his heart out to reach to QF and was defeated by World Number 2, Malaysia's Chong Wei Lee. I saw that match y'day and kashyap put up a real good fight in the 1st set. In fact was leading 19-18 at one stage. Pressure caught him up and he conceded the 1st set. Of course, in the 2nd set, Chong Wei Lee was in a differnet level altogether and was simply unplayable (esp those backhand smashes, net drops). Kashayp has made us all proud. Keep it up. He may break into top10 soon.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT..U R RIGHT SIR,
TO MY THOUGHTS, KASHYAP WAS NEEDING A PSYCHOLOGICAL BOOST AT THAT MOMENT FROM HIS COACH. HOWEVER, HE PLAYED VERY WELL AGAINST WORLD'S TOP.(2 OR 1 ARE CONSIDERED SIMILAR).
GOOOOOOD KASHYAP.

Well, I would say Pulle GopiChand is a God's gift to Indian Badminton. He was the 1st Indian ever to get into top 10 rankings and defeat South-East Asians.Even Legendary Prakash Padukone couldn't do that. Now, after retiremnet, he is doing a wonderful job of a coach and the results are here too. Saina, Kashyap, Jwala Gutta, Ashwini Ponnapa, Ajay Jayram are all world's leading players. Give him some more time, and I am sure, he will bring in more and more indians into the limelight. The day is not far, when we would see 2 Indians fighting at the QF or SF stage (like chinese).

Wish Indian Missile - Saina Nehwal
by Rajender Reddy on Aug 03, 2012 10:17 AM

Months earlier, When India successfully test launched its new nuclear-capable missile "AGNI 5 " which could hit Beijing and China - and beyond, makes China stunned. Remember, It was only just a test launch to show China & the world, what India is capable of.

In London Olympics 2012 women's badminton arena, India directly targets China by launching badminton missile "Saina" against top 3 Chinese shuttler's to earn the gold medal for India at the London Olympics 2012 and send a message to China stating that just one missile is enough to break great walls of China.

Right now, Saina is at the 'highest level of game' and a dream run at the present Olympics 2012.
Seems like this Olympics medal is in her grasp after bagging Swiss open, Thai open and Indonesia super series. This world number four stood up to the domination of the Chinese girls and proved they can be beaten at the above tournaments.

At London Olympics 2012, Saina send packed all the world's best shuttler's, who were possible threats before facing top 3 Chinese dragons. Saina is ready now to face the final hurdle with Chinese which can earn India a medal & ends Chinese supremacy in Badminton.

Being an Hyderabadi, I'm very proud that I belong to a place where Saina belongs & who is carrying whole nation hopes & burden to prove that " India is the Best" among the rest of the world.

We can only hope, pray & wish her "All The Best" to break the Chinese bar
