Even phelps must be taking drugs
by Rajeshwar Singh on Aug 05, 2012 05:41 PM

Then even Phelps must be taking drugs and steroids which don't get detected in the dope test.He wins so many golds ,how come nobody questions about him.I have a clear suspicion Michael Phelps takes drugs and gets "saved" by his cheat nation.Or its impossible to win so many medals in successive Olympics.Come on wake up guys we're not fools to understand this simple facts. The Americans have been winning in the past so many times, why aren't they questioned?Come on people don't get fooled.

All comments before me are bounch of losers, typical lazy indian. This is why you could not get a single gold medal, pitty and shame for a country with a big population. Remember this common sense, you want to achieve something, you have to work hard, your gods would not give you anything for free. Each Chinese who gets gold medal can have millions of dollars on the rewarding. You poor and lazy indian never understand this - hard working get rewarded. Understand?????

Taklu, my friend I would like to show some eye-opener to you about this so callew awe-struck chinese performance.
Just read todays TIMES OF INDIA about how a girl was not told about her grandmothers death or her mother's cancer treatment so that her performance is not affected and please see the reactions of their own countrymen to these news.
Chinese govt. runs a SPORTS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME in which, in the name of making OLYMPICS CHAMPIONS the kind of INHUMAN treatment is given to these kids.
You can see the videos about it on the net also, this is another kind of child labour you can call it.
The training i so ruthless or so tough that the feelings inside an indivisual almost dies and you become like a robot in result you can see absolutely no emotions after the victory is seen on their faces.
The above mentioned girls parents said that they have not seen their daughter for some years and they have lost it to the OLYMPIC dreams.
Now tell me would you like to have medals at the cost of such inhuman behaviour.
If you belive in success at this cost then its better INDIA reamins without medals but people dont suffer such things.

Hi Rajesh,
Have you not in your favourite "Times of India" about the indian athlete(from the south) who was forced to work in a kiln for livelihood -a gold medalist she was. I think that is a 'human' treatment given to her -who brought glory to her country.
Instead of finding faults with the chinese success, think about how can we bring about similar success to indian sports -perhaps your "Times of India" has got the ideas, ask them.

And lastly, how many times did the indian media(with paid news -see how they are covering Anna's agitation after congress give them money!!) sung praise about china? So stop feeling uncomfortable when our neighbour goes ahead in almost all fileds. Their leaders and citizens are commited to nation building, unlike our -where personal gains is the first consideration, nation is next.
Stop this jealousy!

Hi robson,

Please dont get overexcited. Rajesh has not said anything wrong.I agree with you , when you say that the indian athlete has not been treated well by the government, but that still does not deny the fact that what China has done with its athletes is inhuman.

We would not be finding faults if the success acheived was genuine, but the price that the poor athletes have paid for their governments success is enormous. If you think we are finding fault why are we not doing the same when Micheal Phelps or athletes from other successful countries like USA also won many medals.USA has been winning medals for ages but they do not have this kind of inhuman training centers which are more like concentration camps. It is not just Times of India. There was an article in a kannada magazine about the price poor people in China had to pay during Beijing Olympics. If you think even these articles are paid and biased nothing stops me from assuming that new which praises China is also biased.

Again, I agree that Indians still have to go a long way in the Olympics. We would like to emulate the USA which wins medals and also treats its athletes in a humane manner.

although US would like to believe chinese athletes are using performance enhancing drugs, but this is just vague news floated in their media...the other day joscelin yeo a former singaporean swimmer on starsports said, it's not 'impossible', but they are innocent until proven guilty--i second her comments.
