Big Deal!

Yes, presence of this unknown person in the parade has hurt the morale of Indian olympiads so much that they have even forgotten why they went to olympics.

Does it really matter who she is? If she didn't cause harm to anyone why does this issue need to be stretched anymore. I was surprised the Indian Olympic players were upset about this episode. They need to brush these things of as if it didn't happen. THe mental balance for the players is so important. They need to be thinking about their sport all the time and not worry about who walked with them in the parade. Did anyone watch how other countries like Germany etc walked in the parade. They were happy, enjoying themselves and relaxed. Did anyone see even a single person smile in Indian contingent during the parade?

India needs to get lot of basics right to start doing good in Olympics. I was under the impression this Olympics will be a huge turning event for India. The country has progressed so much in all other areas but when it comes to Olympics we are still living in stone age.

Didn't she know she wasn't walking in a park. So what she was selected for the dance. "I have spirit and courage", yeah we saw that. Embarrassing everybody. Wonder how India is going to rock the world with no or poor facility and leaving everything to the sportsperson. Shame all over.

Really, this selfish woman has behaved exactly as do our Politicians - just any thing for a few seconds of soclled fame .....all at the cost of the country's prestige - don't our Politicians (the sychophants that all of them are)stoop to the lowest levels if there be anything in that for them....this obnoxious woman did no worse.

Can't be a dancer
by Ajit Kamble on Aug 03, 2012 03:22 PM

I'm sure she can't be a bharat natyam dancer :-) Her b0dy structure doesn't look like one. My feeling is that she must be desparate to get into Kannada movies and act with Anna Bond :-)

The woman must get some punishment

The woman is surely a gatecrasher. She was a member of Dany Boyle's dance troupe but that does not qualify her to parade alongside the country's greatest sportspersons.
There is something wrong in the way many young Indians are brought up.They are indisciplined, opportunistic and thoroughly unprofessional. They want to make their way to celebrity status by unacceptable means. She claims to be an MBA but does not know the simple fact that she has earned a poor name for the country. She is in the news for wrong reasons. She must know that it requires a lot more talent (than that of dancer and MBA) to earn the right to parade alongside Susheel Kumar and Leander Paes.

All said and done, the presence of the red and blue clad smiling female did not look bad in a sea of yellow... just commenting about the visual perspective, of course.

Opening ceremony march past crasher

Don't blame her parents. Nor the this girl.
It is the fault of the security.
If this happened in India, whole world would be blaming India for security breech, But not a single word has been said against Britain.
All blame has been passed on to the girl.
WHY, it is not her fault, she saw a chance and went for it.
It is the security lapse on behalf of British security firm C4 a company with Olympic security contract worth nearly 300million pounds whose job it is keep any one not participating in games out and away from players and athletes.
I do not agree that what she has done is good, but she has high lighted that not only India but a country who is proud of it self and boast to be the best in the world can also fail.
She could easily have been a suicide bomber.
Fault is not hers, It is British who is at fault.
Give the girl credit for her Guts.
BLAME BRITAIN NOT THE GIRL.

So, by your logic if someone commits a murder and a policeman watches and does nothing, it's only policeman's fault and the murdered is not at all to be blamed. To allow an illegal thing to happen is wrong, but so is using the opportunity to commit an illegal act.

Yes if The Policeman is standing by and does not do any thing then the policeman is to be blamed, But murders is different from gatecrashing.

The point here is that both parties are at fault. Allowing to do something wrong is incorrect, but doing something wrong is also incorrect. You have conviniently (and deliberately) taken only the wrong things out of my analogy. I know murderers are different from gatecrashers, but do you understand the term "analogy" ? That's what I have given.
