India's outlook
by Ajai Jacob on Aug 03, 2012 09:17 AM  | Hide replies

India is world champion in lazy cricket played by 10 countries.
Cricket is value for money since one can watch it from dawn to dusk. All these other games are hopeless since they end fast.
Games like tennis, badminton and football need a lot of running around. Why play them when there is a 'beautiful' game where one can just stand and score. And fortunately, this 'beautiful'game is not played by most of the world.
So relax and enjoy cricket.Forget about other games, olympics etc.and live like the proverbial frogs in the well.Mera bharat mahaan !!

thinking like this one is spoiling all games. blaming cricket will not help improve other games. has cricket ever asked you not to see other games? still masses, from every section of society, love to see cricket. think about it.you can not force people to follow anything in particular, whether sport or any other field. cricket was nowhere before 1983 but they capitalised well on worldcup victory, organised and managed to spread game well throughout country. its good organising body that is helping cricket to sustain its popularity. see other game's organising committee. do you see any co-ordination? and thats what reflect in events like olympic. and yes dont expect sponsers for games where people dont follow. they are not charity organisation. sponsors are accountable to their shareholders for money invested. will you put your money in something which has go assurance of return? so inshort, concentrate on your game and stop blaming cricket if you really wannna succeed

whats wrong with you?? just stop hating one particular game/sport.
In cricket the fielding team runs a lot.
Its not a beautiful game so what??
who are you to judge on behalf of all Indians. If you are a hardcore fan of football, tennis or any other sport so be it, nobody asks you to watch cricket.

WE SHOULD ENCOURAGE OTHER SPORTS/GAMES IN INDIA BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD START HATING CRICKET
