Most of the points won by Jie were long rallies which saina wantedly tried to drag without playing her stamping shot.
Jie only showed moments of flashes and that is why Saina could easily manage to win without shedding much sweat or tears.

perhaps Rediff meant that C won comfortably which actually was the case. Her challenger was never in the game.

the opponent was not young like saina and was 35yr old.
the dutch was aged and was not very quick and was tired. but she played smartly.

but saina shuld have shown much discipline game and avioded throwing away some points.

Hopefully Saina can be as predictable as Vish Anand in chess - when it comes to winning and fulfilling country's expectations

One athelete I am not afraid to read news about..
by Chicago Male on Aug 02, 2012 01:21 AM

Unlike other Indian athletes who go down fighting or go down within 90 secs, Saina really is a fighter and I always am eager to read news about her.
She already has accomplished a lot. Although I wish for her to grab a medal this olympic but I wont be too disappointed if she doesn't.

She is a true Champ and good luck to her.
