We should accept the reality that not only India but all the SAARC (Sri Lanka, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh)countries are nowhere near the world standards in sports.We cannot improve simply by blaming the governments and the Kalmadies.We do not have a sports culture.So for the time being,we remain comfortably within the shell of Kabadi and cricket.Fortunately most of the world do not know what these two games are.

India can win Gold Medal in Olympics if Cricket and Chess was there, apparently these two games does not require any endurance.

Yes I agree. we lack all other games in-front of cricket. However; this is not only one reason. Selection panel should be very clean and disciplined. Should not allow reservations and corruption through political power. We should learn from China on this and look at their hard work and commitment.
