The Chinese at this point are suffering from pangs of plenty in most areas that they compete in. It was good to see somebody else apart from the Chinese dominate the gymnastics yesterday. We hope the rest of the world catches up with them in other sports too. India is a long way off at least at this point.
This is the same reason that our tennis duo Mahesh and Rohan lost their match. They did not want to face Paes and Vishnu in the quarter final or semi final...
Never talk about the situation these organisers have put the players in to. It sounds silly if a seed 1 and seed 2 of a sport has to compete against each other in semi final match up (if they win all their matches). The players are not dummies, they are intelligent human beings.. thus they done this. In my books it is completely fair. The format makers asked for it, and they got it. If whatever these players did make sure that the best 4 players of the world meet in the final match... then they did it right!!!

If I get to go with ur logic then all sports should be played between top 3-4 players not all players.
