Jugal Ahuja
as expected
by Jugal Ahuja on Sep 25, 2011 12:59 AM

as expected saina crashed out from the event.in 2011 she has not been able to win a single big event apart from the swiss open where no chinese, japanese, danish players were participating.it is not about losing but losing in straight games.this has happened for the 5th time in 2011-all england open, india open, world cup, china open & now japan open.prior to leaving for the world cup held in london this month saina had boasted that she can beat any of the ranked chinese players, & this world cup is a stepping stone for the gold in the london olympic 2012. leave alone defeating chinese players she got beaten by a thai,a japanese and now a german ranked much below her. she should concentrate on her game instead of going for promotional events, she is yearning for quick bucks & skipping training.talent alone is not enough for being a world champion, she lacks stamina which is evident from her poor 2nd game points.saina should stop boasting about beating the chinese top notchers,as she is much below them.

I watched the match
by pk on Sep 24, 2011 07:40 PM

She was making silly technical mistakes, was moving too slow for an international player and yes..helped Juliana by gifting points. I have been watching her matches since 1.6 months and she is becoming slow(lethargic if i m allowed). For God sake change her coach...that moron was of no use to her..

THE MEDIA SPOILT YOU - WHEN YOU WERE WINNING
by sasi balan on Sep 24, 2011 05:48 PM

THE GLAMARIOUS MEDIA MADE A HYPE - YOU LOST YOUR CONCENTRATION. ANY WAY - KEEP GOING - AS YOU CAN BE EXAMPLE FOR THE BUDDING PLAYERS. THE MEDIA - WIN ONE MATCH - THEY WILL CALL YOU IN FOR A INTERVIEW AND ASK SILLY QUESTIONS. MAKE A HYPE AROUND YOU. NEXT YOU ARE NO WHERE. MEDIA IS NECESSARY - BUT WHEN THEY GO UPTO THE EXTENT OF SOMEBODY'S UNDERWEAR. PLEASE STOP MASALA. AND LET US START WITH CONSTRUCTIVE MEDIA - THE MEDIA WHICH ACTS AS A GUIDANCE TOWARDS THE SPORT AND NOT GLAMOUR. IS MEDIA ONLY ABOUT GLAMOUR. CINEMA CAN BE GLAMOROUS, BUT GLAMOUR IN SPORTS, NEWS,VIEWS ETC CANNOT BE FRUITFUL.
