Again, Novak beats Nadal in four sets
by HUSSAIN MITHANI on Sep 13, 2011 11:16 PM  | Hide replies

It seems that Novak has easier time beating Nadal than federer. Six straight wins for Novak over Nadal this year. Nadal fans are getting the taste of their own medicine. They always ridicule federer and his achievements. You know what they say, if you dig a hole for someone, you will fall yourself. That's exactly what's happening with Nadal fans. They seem to have disappeared after this loss. I don't blame them. its pretty embarassing to lose six straight times. The end of Nadal has already started. Its only going to get worse from now on. Just be ready for it Nadal fans. Congrats to Novak. He is stoppable only by the legend Roger Federer. Novak better hope not to come across federer in grand slam finals next year. If you can beat him once, you can beat him again.

Lets see how Novak will keep up the Pace :)., I don't think that this is end of Nadal .., May be you can see a resurgent Nadal next year .., You never know.., and cannot write-off player like Fedrer and Nadal so early..., Novak has to keep on playing the same reckless forehands and backhands to be on top every year .., I am not under estimating Novak too .., But now Tennis will be more interesting

very true, definitely not the end of rafa or fedex but i feel rafa's game has become predictable, when he needs time between shots, he lofts the ball, very evident and djoker is too good for that..he is strong...anyways, long way to go to catch up with the great fedex..

What a match Joker played in SF & Final, that match should be termed as 1 of the classics of USopen,to beat Rafa was not easy who demolised their opponent with his swinging serve and forehand, only Djokovic knew how to play Nadal and his serve's & return,he did it hope he beats Rafa in French Open and complete the Grand slam like Agassi ,Fedex & Rafa in the modern tennis era.

the first tennis game that i ever watched on tv was a wimbledon final many years back in which boris becker won. before that i had never known that such a game ever existed. but i was mesmerised by becker's game & he became an instant favourite. i started following the game only to watch boris play & later on steffi graf. i loved to watch tennis only when boris & steffi were playing & always wanted them to win. boris becker & steffi graf have always remained my favourite players. after they stopped playing, i stopped watching tennis matches, though i still follow the game keenly and sometimes watch the grand slam finals in parts, though not the full match. in recent times fedex caught my fascination & the interest to watch tennis on tv returned due to him. rafa has proved to be his nemesis. though he is good, i do not like rafa & now seems he has met his match in djoker.

It was only Federer who could stop Djokovic. It's beginning of the end of Nadal era. Thanks to Federer who stopped Djokovic winning streak in French Open which allowed Nadal to win his only GS of this year.
Djokovic truely deserved US Open this year. Federer played like 2nd best in this tournament. Federer is the only player who has beaten Djokovic this year.

Sorry to FedUp fans. They are rediced to the level of celebrating Nadal's losses and not any rare Fedex wins.FedUp wasn't even near winning any tournament this year forget a GS.It's time he retired, and it's time his fans started waking up and smelling the coffee.FedUp is finished while Rafa being Rafa,it's not long before he roars back.Novak has only beaten him twice so far in GS games. So lets see who's era is over and who's has begun,Congrats Novak for unbelievable level of tennis.Anyone who can dominate Nadal so much consistently really deserves to be lauded.Even Federer could NEVER do it.

Sorry to Nadal fans. But now Nadal is at same stage where Federer was in 2008. He is continuously losing to Djokovic. Now Nadal has mental block against Djokovic.

glad that djoko won
by biswanath roy on Sep 13, 2011 12:00 PM

i am extremely happy that serbia's djokovic won the us open this is his 3rd grand slam(GS) title of 2011, & in all the 4th GS, taking into account aus open 2008.i am even happier that the steroid consuming cheat serena williams got thrashed by stosur in the women's final. serena should get a 2 year ban for the repeated disrespect she shows the chair umpire & line judges.
