By the way why do these player require money for, a hockey stick probably costs some 80-90 Rs and a ball probably 35-40 Rs. 25000 is like they can purchase hockey sticks for their entire life. They should grab it by both hands at the earliest may be HI will not offer it at all tomorrow. This game is not played only at few remote villages in punjab and may be few very remote viallges in jharkhand. why should government waste their money on such remote places.

Cricket is played only in 10 countries that too mostly in Poor nations .. despite of huge money in cricket India were 7th out of 10 nations . Why to waste the money on such game which is played by only 10 nations
It is high time, people concentrate on hockey rather than waste their valuable time watching and discussing on cricket.( Cricket that is so unreal rigged ball by ball and the game itself. Feed money hungry hockey players instead and boost their morale
Congratulations to our hockey team. Now at least the sponsors can forward and support the team members financially and shift their focus from cricket to hockey. cheers!!
