its really a gr8 job by our hockey team . They did splendid job even when they know that they will not get any contracts for this win. No state will give them prize money and no one even ask them a tea after this win

I salute the team for winning in China beating Pakistan.I feel proud as I am in China.
Same way,I really felt proud when Abhinav Bindra won gold in Beijing olympic and my chinese asst came running to show me prize distribution ceremony in the dining hall.My heart is swelling with national pride when the national anthem was played.Abhinav won the gold too early in the competition defeating Chinese shooter.It really saved my prestige as atleast I could boast that India won one gold..
Congrats to hockey team and its true even if 10% of money spent on cricket is invested in hockey,Indian team will be able to win gold in olympics...
i HOPE media will give them some space after this win ... that is the need of hour ... i do not want bl 00 dy film star?s occupying most of the time on news channels....

Cricket didn't become popular due to media but because of our teams performance and gr8 players like Kapil and Gavaskar. So its our ministry which has to put focus on other sports to create the interest of youth towards them
