Somdev's defeat of David Istomin(UZB) 6-2,6-2,& Vijender Singh's defeat of world champion boxer Abbos Atoev 7-0 in Asian games was fixed,Uzbek is poor country of former Soviet republic,they like India & actor Raj Kapoor,they helped us to develop these sports India by losing very badly to us in these sports.
somdev is not a class...just organisers want to see some TRP in the biggest market india...so they include him..if he injured then also some munna munni will play for india..

Somndev has won Asian games and Commonwealth gold for India.He plays his heart out when he plays for the nation.Asian games or CWG does not fetch money to tennis players.
Asian games was held in China.What TRP there ?
Do you think any TomPakistanHarry can get entry into main draw unless he is higher ranked?
Somdev is 64th ranked in the world among thousands of tennis players.If his rank goes down,he will have to first play qualifying rounds.
It is not a shame to lose in the hand of world number 4 in tennis.
