A message to other Sports Persons
by Manu Nair on Nov 01, 2011 08:10 AM  | Hide replies

We do need other sports persons like Sachin Tendulkar to encourage other sports too. It's really good to see Sachin Tendulkar taking an initiative to promote Formula 1 which is not an easy sport in itself, it is really tough!!!

Wud have liked if the land used for the F1 circuit had been taken after a proper compensation to the farmers.

When all the land scams are prominent enough under corruption,if these lands are kept empty they would go to the VIP's for building their houses/apartments or their estates. Do you ever think that these lands will go to the farmers!!!

We cant respect our heroes
by common man on Oct 31, 2011 12:58 PM  | Hide replies

After reading the comments on the forum, I really pity that we cannot even respect our
heroes greciously. For e.g. look at schumaker,
he came back to circuit after retirement & since not winning much. But you will not see this type of cheap comments against him in Germany. So the bottom line is " It happens only in India."

I totally agre with u. Such bad comments these people write. Really, they don't value the true heroes.
How much Sachin as played for the country, he is such a great guy, brings joys in millions and millions of people's faces.
He is so highly respected by his team mates.
One thing I'm happy about is, these negative comments from 200 odd people here and may about another 1000 from other sites are the only few commnents which will be against Sachin. The rest billions know what a true hero he is.

Yes ! Good
by Ganesh R on Oct 31, 2011 12:12 PM

Good to see cricketers encouraging other sports in the country too. Good. Sachin is always a sporting person who loves others sports too. We need more brand ambassadors for Sports in the country ...who love all sport other than just cricket. Otherwise we will not Excel in any Olympic sport ever. Thanks Sachin. Nice role model for youngsters.
