the reason simple...when the race starts, all indian spectators cross the track to go to the other side thinking its another indian road amidst the movement of cars..since the foreigners are trained to stop their cars when they see people crossing the tracks, an indian will have the knack of driving along even if the people cross and hence would win the race..
