indian olympic association vice president, a couple of months ago forecasted that india will be winning 7 golds @ london 2012 olympics. 3 in shooting( gagan narang, ronjon sodhi,& team india in 10 metre rifle),2 in boxing(vijendra & mary kom) 1 in badminton(saina nehwal), and 1 in wrestling(sushil kumar). i cannot say about the others, but one thing is sure saina nehwal should count herself lucky if she even reaches the quarter-finals.the way she is playing, she just cannot get past the second round( she lost to obscure non ranked players of china in both the denmark & french open- today). how the hell is she ranked world no 4, she does not deserve to be in the first 10. both saina & vijendra singh the boxer are participating in too many ramp shows & promotional events, & thus skipping essential practice & training.earning easy money over serious play, and thats what is the result.

What the F can Dhoni do? What the F did he do in England? As long as team plays well, he gets credit for being "captain cool".

Friend, I dont think there is anybody in Hockey India and Indian Hockey Federation to learn lessons from from these debacles. All these federations are interested in teaching each other lessons and minting money. The Govt. of India is speechlessly watching and saying we will act. The water has reached our nose. HOW LONG it will take let us also watch and cast our votes.
