F1 TAX EXEMPTION
by jagdeep khanna on Oct 21, 2011 07:01 PM

WHY GOVT. OF U.P. IS SO KEEN AND BENT UPON TO GIVE FAVOURS TO MILLIONAIRES. THE ORGANIZER AND THE PEOPLE WHO WILL WATCH THIS SHOW HAVE THICK SKIN TO BEAR THE " EXPENDITURE TAX". INSTEAD OF WAVING THIS , GOVT SHOULD COLLECT AND REDUCE THE BURDEN ON PETROL AND DIESEL WHICH WILL CURB INFLATION TO SOME EXTENT, RATHER THAN FILLING THEIR COFFERS WITH UNACCOUNTED MONEY. THE GOVT. SHOULD THINK " SERIOUSLY AND WITH SINCERITY"

This is my first posting to such a forum. Feeling strange to post it, since I see most posts are from women here. Probably im the only man to post such a thing here..

I've been married for 5 years, i wont say it is a happy marriage. My wife has a strange characteristic, she tends to take anything that anyone says to her as negatively. No one can give any advice to her, she has been brought up in a very close family, with her sister and parents being the only ones they are bothered about. She doesnt have any friends at all. All that she discusses is with her mom, my MIL. they chat for 6-8 times a day, sometimes gossiping about what is wrong with others. My aged mother lives with us and my wife *never* got along with her. Every festival in the house is a nightmare and she constantly objects and nags about everything i do. She has a problem in small things like 'why do i water the plants everyday'? She has a problem with my relatives coming home too.

Last year, my wife delivered our son and returned back from her mom's place. Within 10 days, she picked up a fight with my mom, shouted at her, bad mouthed her, for some silly reason and she has left home. I have been trying to talk to her and get her back home. She is not interested in meeting me. With great difficulty, i convince her to meet, she is very cold and seems un-interested. Help me.

F1 in India!!!
by Sathyaa Naash on Oct 21, 2011 05:23 PM

1. Minimum of 10 bumpers to be placed in the straight stretch so as to regulate the traffic speed!!
2. At every turning and curve, there would be a traffic police to make sure they catch hold of the errant driver. The driver has 2 options: Pay FINE or Pay BRIBE!!!
3. If the errant driver doesn't pay fine or bribe, the F1 car will be taken to the nearest police station and the driver needs to collect his F1 car after the payment of the dues!!!

VROOM VROOM VROOOOOOM!!!

F1 entertainement
by subodh jain on Oct 21, 2011 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

we the govt. of India as well as the so called corporate sector have become so insensitive towards humanity that when we are not able to offer even one time meal to all our fellow citizens, how can we think of spending more than 4K Crore on an event like F1.
Our prime responsibility at the very first pointis to ensure at least two time meals to all Indians, irrespective of caste and creed.
We all Indians shall forego one time meal every week ( Like the one our loved PM Lal Bahadur Shastri had done during his tenure as PM ) and feed those who need the most.

Leave aside sports because the construction of the circuit it self has given earning to thousands of labourers.

Many poor people will be associated the F1 as gate keeper1,sweeper1,gardener1,worker1.It will also give boost to F1 career in India.

Many industries will be producing accessories,banners,placards,etc..it is hel1 lot of revenue generation. It has also plum1eted the cement and construction Industry. It is also showing that India is an emerging power.

Just let sports flourish,it brings pride to the nation.

Now,tell you another thing, they donot have 1 meal because they waste their money on cheap liquor. It is really difficult to get a labour now a days.If you pull some one and give him Rs 150 daily wage and let him work, after 1 day,he will run away.

If you are really interested,be after the 1.5 trillion black money which is stashed abroad, not any economic activity in the country.

Tax Expemtion for the Rich & Wealthy ???
by raj m on Oct 21, 2011 04:42 PM  | Hide replies

Whats the great idea of giving tax empemtion for a event whose tickets are sold for Rs,40,000 each.
While the common man is made to pay for basic utilities like using road with cess on petrol, why are the organisers sparred of tax.

Overall the country gains a lot from this type of events. There will be a large number of foreigners and tourists coming to india. They will be spending a lot of money and create a market for Indian services and products. A large number of workers must have earned their living during construction of the F1 track.

Everything accepted.....BUT....why a tax REBATE on any Commercial sports activity? ...which is not "directly" going to help any underpriviliged group !....and for discussion for discussion sake!.....every Movie attracts benefits for the guys parking vehicles, selling samosas,peanuts....all movies even Gambling should be TAXFREE!!!!!

It is the citizen asking not to except the tax.
Each tax payer has the right to ask.
