ICL saga to be repeated
by indiarocks on Nov 17, 2011 07:11 AM

The only problem is that Hockey India is not as rich as BCCI. We are sure to lose some amazing talents from the national pool. After all, who doesn't want to make money and WSH is going to be one tough competition too. Players will only get better after such a tournament. Why not support this if it helps build a stronger side? All the best to all our hockey players.

And will Hockey India stop christening this as against the country?

CORRUPT ADMINISTRATORS
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Nov 17, 2011 05:49 AM

Normally I would have agreed .Unlike match fixing cricket - the Hockey players were paid next to nothing .The so called administrators have been swallowing all the funds. Here is a chance for Hockey players to make money Why stop them ? Country - is what it speople are , particularly those who have been given the reigns of governing. The less said about them the better it is ! criminals and looters - this is the least one cn say as compliment to them.

Hockey is no one watch sports in India. Some one try to improve and others pull it down. It may be bad joke as already Hockey have very very less viewers in India...

The empty stands at various stadiums recently underlie the fact that Cricket is going Hockey\'s way. I am pleased that this boring uppermiddle class sport will be replaced by real games like football, hockey etc.
