The 5ft 2 is a wizard. But even wizards need a little more help when it comes to facing mightier opposition. It was maradona's ego and stupidity that caused Argentina the WC or maybe the final (Spain were too good even for Argentina)
I am a big Man Utd fan but Messi deserves total respect irrespective of who or which team one supports.

Right now,Barcelona are not competing with other Contemporary teams but with the history of football...
They just need to show d door to non performers like Maxwell,Milito and strengthen d defence... Also they need an out-and-out striker in d mould of Alan Shearer till gerard deulofeu develops .. There is no problem in midfield as Thiago Alcantara,Rafinha and Sergi Roberto will easily fill d boots of Xavi and Iniesta...

I agreed almost all you points, there are few areas they lack i suppose which need to be taken care as well. Let not compare Barca 91-94 to Ajax Total football, Milan dream team and madrid winning everything in 50s & even current barca as well. Defence doesnt have the speed, its shows many time against Manu/Arsenal & Madrid as well, they looks vulnarable when they loose the ball. Sorry to say but no one can fill the gaps of Iniesta/Xavi, they are not getting all what they deserve, for me they are just unbelievable, even Alves playing amazingly well apart from his stupid diving and tackles. The golden era will continue for more couple of years for sure, the only one is to watch out for and thats Mourinho, its his second year in charge which is always dangerous.

Aftab Its true that Iniesta and Messi are hard to replace...In fact,Messi and Iniesta are similar in every qualities except for messi's goal scoring abilities

Its Thiago Alcantara...He's a real beast...he looks like Xavi 2.0 and is considerably tall too...just check his videos in youtube.... His younger brother Rafinha is also showing a lot of promise..
Also true the "Dream team" of Barcelona got owned by Milan in 94....But that was d foundation of the fruits of La Masia

Lets see how things goes in years to come, all other above mentioned team perform for more than quarter continusly and Catalans are alomst there, hatrick leage, 3 Cl in last 6 years, for sure greatest moment for Catalans, let c who can stand infron of them in coming years. I cant c any team from any other league apart from EPL, what say Hari, for me the team who has chances to stand in coming season is Devils/Arsenal and Madrid for sure.

Chelsea and Milan are in d process of rebuilding d squad....
Utd now need a quality creative midfielder...Even nasri is ok for them...I heard he's delayin to sign d contract at Emirates....Sneijder will be a good buy even if he costs 40m
Madrid has bought few good quality players..Coentaro is an amazin catch...if they could buy an attacking coach,unlike Mou..they can easily upstage Barca
ARSEnal will never change till they fire Wenger...every yr,he buys cheap players from Ligue-1...and frustrate d current players.... had they held on to Hleb,Flamini,baptista,Viera instead of sellin them for profit,they might be ruling EPL now.. But they look only at profit obtained at d lowest cost possible...Only nasri and Arshavin were d only quality players they bought in d last 5 yrs...

I agree with you, Hariharan. I would however like to add the Brazilian national team of 1970 and 1982, France 1984, Holland and Germany in 1974 who play similar breathtaking football. It is pleasure seeing Barcelona play the ball and they will surely go down in history as one of the greatest team ever to play football.

There is only 1 person who can bring arrogant barca to their knees & that is Jose. Barca, for me are not the best footballing team. Their game is so boring when it coms to passing. They dont have the quick game unlike real madrid. Only thing Y barca are on top is cos they are playing with same memebers since quite while & they have good on field understanding. I think all those who have bashed Jose, will keep quite once he take full control of RM. I think Jose is going to stay for long time just like how SAF for Man U. he is simply diverting his attention to Man U for the simple reason that, he knows RM is the best club in the world.

U're a Jose fan not a Real fan... U shd knw that even if Jose brings a La Liga title,he's more likely to get fired...As a Barca fan,I know d feelings of an average Real fan...they've always looked for two things 1.Attractive football 2.Glory Even if u attain Glory without playin attractive football...U'll get fired...Maybe u can ask a certain Capello why he was fired twice inspite of winnin a title...
Jose,with all respect to him,is a glorified Tony Pulis...At chelsea,he made a $200m play like Stoke City...he's doin d same with a $500m team at Real... His tactics are to play defensive football and sneak a goal in between... His Plan B is to make his players attack d opposite players mercilessly...
