i am an avid badminton fan & use to play the game till a decade ago.india participated in sudirman cup 2011,staged at china's qingdao city, which concluded on 29-05-11.unfortunately india got knocked out in the quarter-finals.after this india's print & electronic media completely blanked out any happenings regarding the results of this event. yesterday from bbc & cnn i got to know that china had won the event, beating denmark. i just can't fathom indian media's attitude.even a couple of months ago, at rotterdam where the world table tennis event was held, our media blanked out after achantha sharath lost in the 1st round. our media is only crazy about cricket, that is understood, but when it can cover american NBA games why not international event like world TT or badminton. is it because china wins these events?

It's because of a device called "remote control" that's always present near the TV audience. As soon as the Indian audience see something other than Cricket, on the idi0t box, their fingers start itching. And you know what happens next. This is the last thing TV channels want, who are always hungry for that TRP thing.

Start paying TV tax then the channel wont be hungry about their TRP; in certain countries in europe the TV tax is around 500-700 euro per year
All these women's sports associations are nothing but "glamorized" brokers, who wish to make money by selling female flesh. It's a natural instinct of male to get attracted towards female flesh. These brokers are exactly exploiting and cashing upon this basic human instinct.

Purdah to blank out the total figure? Then no one knows who is playing! Even men can play in women's tournament!

So, strip them and make them play without any clothes. We could identify them even better, with all those moles and birth marks. No scope of cheating by wearing face masks, so on.

Just wanted to make you feel happy, because there are folks who like extreme sports and I thought you might be one of them.

[It is upto each one's choice. My choices are clear] ..... Your clear choices say something loud and clear, that any sport involving female players is watched not for the sport, but for the glamor and skin show associated with those ladies. This is what my initial post mentioned and I'm reiterating that in this final post.

I would rather stick to tennis with gorgeous Maria, Anna and a whole lot of them ever willing to go the full distance! Do you know what I mean? Nothing left to imagination and let the men have a ball!

[I would rather stick to tennis with gorgeous Maria, Anna and a whole lot of them ever willing to go the full distance] ..... Serena and Venus are conspicuous by their absence, in your list. Were they deliberately left out since you can't have a ball by viewing them play?

Men's sport is watched by some women if they are handsome. This I have been told by some. Likewise, men have their favorites too, not strictly by playing talents! Sigh, that is the way of the world!
women are exploited left and right, everywhere they are exploited, unless they show skin, even sport doesnt sell, we need dancing girsl to sell ipl, we need skirts to sell badminton, cant play tennis without showing innerwear very sad state of degressed morality of man... thuuuuuuuure..
