saina and gopichand

coach of a rising female badminton star from nagpur mentioned to one sports journalist that saina & gopichand are not in good terms with each other. the reason being saina's skipping training sessions & participating in ramp shows & propagating for cosmetics & other luxury products. if this is true, as one cannot see reasons for it to be false, i think saina despite having immense talents may not reach the ultimate. its time that her father, who is her mentor cautions her ward against distractions.

Is fame getting into Saina's head, like Sania?

a loss here and there is all part of the game. But overall she is a champion player and has a positive impact on many young indian girls to pick up the badminton racquet. For sania, even though she couldn't reach upto her potential, the job was much more tougher considering the kind of competition we have in lawn tennis. But then she achieved what noone else could do before her.

great to see, indian team is not one man army. But, still sorry to say, something patchy days going for Saina.
