Does the size of a footballer matter? Can teams with 'smaller' boys be successful?

what does rediff interviewer intend to ask? does the size of lodaas matter while playing football? or are foreigners bigger than Asians?

koreans and japanese are smaller or equal to indians in terms of height and weight and yet they are world claas in futboll

and all rediff manages to ask is the size difference and its effect on football

i am sure there all hypogonadic microlodas in rediff team, get big or die trying rediff

They were right..they asked bcos Bob Houghton said he couldnt get success from indians because of their height...His approach were English, which demands a towering Alan Shearer type of striker and a bulldog type of midfielders...

Rediff jus wnated to ask whether this guy follows Houghton's principle while selecting players...

Height is not important unless u're a central defender...
Last yrs POTY nominess were Xavi,Iniesta and Messi...This shows how height is important in football

Yeah but height is important for defenders. Otherwise there is no way to defend the opposite teams attackers. A few Marco Materrazis can come in handy.

Xavi and Iniesta are great with a World cup championship. Don't lump Messi with them, he showed his colors in the German game. Was he on the ground that day? I sure did not see him with any effort. Even that delicate de Maria had a close shot on goal but not this prima donna Messi.

yeah yeah... I know he needs someone to feed him the ball up front so he can tap in a goal.
