at least u r following it.. btw, hockey needs stamina that todays' indians lacks...
In all matches that India played, we were ahead by opponents. Later our opponents, bounced back and destroyed our defence. This proves that we need to work on our fitness..R U listening Mr. Coach

Like in cricket, we also need foreign coaches in hockey and other sports for some length of time , say 10 or 13 years. We got to bring foreign expertise in to our system and then later our coaches can take over. But like in all other sporting fed's in india except bcci, lack or unprofessional approach is haunting us big time. Suresh kalmadi was the president of indian olympic committee for a very long time. Tat itself answers why our sporting standards are declining rapidly. All major countries, are progressing fast but we are going the opposite way. Now mr ranbir singh has taken over. He was also there heading our sports over these years. So nothing much to look forward to as well. God save us really !!!

That is right, Infact that is nt the case with this tournament only... its for some years now that we are facing this prob. conceeding goals in the late minutes of a match. Even former coach jose barsa used to highlight this prob of the indian team.. very disappointing really. we are indeed a very skilful team, but these days hockey or anyother sports is not just about skill or talent, its also about physical and mental fitness.
