Coaches like Harendra who hide behind lame excuses like this is one of the main causes of the decline of indian hockey. They don;t inspire or instill discipline and hard work in the players. These are all political appointees . If one player is injured and india is torn apart, it means , he does not have 11 quality players other than the injured . This way , we will lose to Bangladesh and Srilanka and Maldives also in the near future.
This is stupid reasoning. The coach should have an alternate plan for these kind of things. The basic thinking is if a player is injured you should always have another player who can take his role. No wonder our's is pathetic team which lives in the past glory...
