One can play Chess even at the age of 55 !!!! that is too in Air Condition Hall !!!
you don't need physical fitness for International tournaments. Sachin on other hand, plays most physically demanding sport.
Sachin achievements will ALWAYS RANK HIGH because you can't play International cricket at (till)55 !!!

your logic is flawed, only reason is that india is obssessed with cricket, period. There are umpteem number of other sports more physically demanding than cricket like hockey,soccer,tennis,badminton...by the way if you are ignorant let me tell you that at the top level these guys do a lot of physical excercize to keep mentally fit
