Pete Sampras's game on grass was natural, he had an all round game and it was a beauty to watch. The seven titles were remarkable in that he won the titles against big servers, baseliners, and serve & volleyers, so his 7 titles stand more outstanding than Federers 6. But Federer is not an inferior player, had he won against his nemesis Nadal it would have been a different story in naming him the greatest grass courter ever in the history of tennis. To me Federer is best player of 2000's era.
I m more than 100% agreed with Rafa, feel sorry for Roger, he was playing gud euf tennis to be in Semi or even Finale but when Songa serve as well as he was last night and if u wud allow him to be offensive, there is not much u can do about. Songa still needed best Tennis of his life to beat Rofer, thats shws the class of Fedex. Its again look like Nadal Slam, even though Andy in gud form, Nova going hot, Its Nadal desire fighting spirit and tactical supremacy, 11th slam is there for him to bite. Vamos Rafa...

It will be tough for him also, because he has man in his mind "Novak". Even if he wins, it will be the toughest win for him just like 2008

Yes. I agree with you. 2010 was a cakewalk for Nadal. But this year I have to appreciate him ih he wins like 2008.
but ever since marriage federer is on down side. may be he is distracted with his family commitments. he has twin remember, so that takes up double the family time.
I do not agree with grass not greener anymore for Roger. Remember US flamboyant player who won Wimbledon at 32! It was unforced errors of Federer which were Tsonga's gain. See Roger turns up champion with better performance next season. He never ever remained absent on injuries ground. And remember this is not wishful thinking.
