Sir please do not mingle the dirtiest game on earth called "cricket" to tennis. Cricket was a gentleman's game 80 years back but now the indians and the rest of the world have made it criminals and cheaters game.

one thing i really like about rafa is that he always plays for every point be it he is down with 40-0, he thinks he can fight back & win the game. Rafa if precise that he make all adjustments before serving or receiving the serve. he never moans uring play unlike so many of this compatriats. One guy was saying that he fakes injury to lose the foucs of the opponent by taking injur time rest. Being the top level & rank no.1 he doesnt hav to do it. this is not gully ckt

Tennis Has Changed
by Jatin Das on Jun 30, 2011 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

FedEx is the best player of all time to play Tennis. But the game is changed now. It is no more comprises of classy shots, long rallies , vollies. Now the players who have a combination of both muscle power & classy shots dominate the game. Such as Nadal, Del Potro, Tsonga, Jokovic. etc. Fedex lacks the power shots. He can't run like Nadal to reach & cover the court at impossible distances. It is time for the greatest player of all time to say Good Bye to the game.

who told u sampras never had the killer instinct sir, it is federer who does not have killer instinct. Just look his loses to Nadal, Djokovic, Nalbandian in his earlier matches of his career. After having match points in various matches he has let those match go the other way round. Whereas if u compare Sampras he has come out of tight situation after being down in several matches and u speak about Killer Instinct. Look at the recent loss to Tsonga where was Federer, did he have the so called Killer Instinct.

a sportstprson career wont last it age 30 if he starts winning fro age 18 or so. i think its time for roger. he had all the success in his tennis career. should start concentrating on some other business. Sampras had many tough opponents during his career whereas roger had to face only nadal, roddick & djokovic recently to earn so many title. i think roger shud hang his boots otherwise al his fans will be humiliated in future.

Its too early for Federer to retire
by husshez@rediffmail.com on Jun 30, 2011 12:01 PM

Federer isn't ready to quit yet. He is in top 3 right now. He has shown he can compete and beat players in the top league. Federer is enjoying the game too much to retire. Since he has been injury free for so many years, I can see federer playing for another 5 yrs before he will quit the game. The legened federer will win another slam. When there is a will, there is a way.

Fedex has better chances at US open
by joseredd on Jun 30, 2011 11:52 AM

Wimbledon has become a paradise for baseline hitters. ball has become slow and is nicely floating high in the air, which allows strong men to give it a whack and win points. nimble footwork, volleys and speed does not matter as much today. pity. wimbledon has lost its character. federer, ofcourse also on decline. But I believe he can still win a major on hardcort.
