Nadal and his medical timeouts
by HUSSAIN MITHANI on Jun 28, 2011 11:42 AM  | Hide replies

it must be really frustating and annoying for the player at the other end to watch nadal take injury timeouts. its a pretty good strategy since it breaks the rhythm of the other player. i saw the match with del potro. what's surprising was that for a guy who was limping in the first set tiebreak, all of sudden move so well in other sets. its pretty shocking. I am starting to doubt nadal was actually injured in the match. I think del potro returned the favor when he called his own injury time out. Nadal even called an injury time out in his previous match. for a guy who is supposed to be compared with great pete sampras and roger federer, this kind of thing does not suit him at all. nadal has done this time and time again. he is famous for his violations as well. like last year where he got a illegal coaching violation in wimbledon and just in today's match he got a time violation. even at the french open, uncle toni was seen illegally coaching nadal in his first round match against Isner. get your act together Mr. Nadal.

Hussain Mithani...sadly for you, your opinion is irrelevent.Keep talking to yourself and deluding yourself. If Rafa's compared to FedUp and Sampras, its because he's done things worth that comparison. So you need to get your act together and buy a clue forever.

Try and ignore his negatives. Look at the positives. His game is primarily physical and that's why he exerts a lot of pressure on his body.

But Rafa Nadal is very different to Sampras and Federer. Rafa nadal on thye court resembles a gladiator. He is not naturally as talented as Federer but is inspirational.

Dude, lets appreciate the champ. Despite of not having all round game like Nova, Andy and Fedex, he has won 10 slam and well on course of winning 11th.
Injury is nt in ur under control, he choose nt to defend wimbledon in 2009 due to injury, if it wud have fake he wundt have skip the series.
If a coach cant teach u in hole season then what u will b able to learn in those split second.

Just Love the Energy of Rafa

Just admire the way he carries himself on the court and off it. He is flawed but he never gives up. That's the hallmark of a true champion! One who fights the adversaries outside and inside to emerge as a better human being.

He take injury time which is well in limit of game and he choose to take when he was on course of winning set, he wasnt trailing when he took it so no way he broke the rhythm of Petro.

Rafa VS Potro......
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 28, 2011 11:25 AM

What a good match it was. D.Potro looked little lazy and lost the opporunity to upset world number 1.

Djokovic was too good. Federer did well except 1st set. Murray was also excellent.

Tomic is looking surprise package.

Rafa, go get Mardy. Vamos
by Another Critic on Jun 28, 2011 10:55 AM

Some idiot here predicted that the max Rafa can get to is final eight. Rafa leads 5-0 against Mardy head to head. Berdych would have been a tougher opponent to Rafa than Mardy.

Rafa -> Fish -> Murray -> Federer -> Wimby Crown. Vamos.
