saina nehwal failed to defend her indonesian open badminton title, losing by a whisker to yihan wang a chinese player in 3 closely fought games.saina was at match point in the 2nd game i.e @ 20-19, but she lost the point, allowed to chinese to come back & win the 2nd game 23-21, & finally in the 3rd game saina looked out of steam & lost 14-21. a friend of mine who is known to the coach of pantwane, a rising indian female player& who played at jakarta, says that the chinese no 1 & 2(female- the other two wang's)players were instructed to lose deliberately to their rivals in the 1st & 2nd round, so that yihan wang could win @ jakarta, as the other two had won the earlier tournaments.it seems to look true because in the singapore event, just prior to this, lin dan gave a walk over to chen long in the mens event, which resulted in boos from the crowd.this policy of the chinese should be exposed & their federation severely punished. agreed that at this stage the chinese are dominating both badminton & table tennis, but this sought of manipulation should be banned.

So again it has to be Sania Mirza
by Pampa on Jun 26, 2011 04:57 PM

So again its left to Sania Mirza to keep the Indian flag flying in World Tennis. Poor girl so much of pressure on her carrying the hopes of 1.2 billion Indians and of the latest the Pakis too...

This pair have grown old. They don't have any stamina left. Mahima Chowdhary & Lara Dutta have drained out their stamina.

Well my dear friend, Leander and Mahesh are world class. They can defeat the best, even today. Let the young talent beat them, but that's not happening.
