Why not?

India is a tennis playing nation.Does fairly well in Davis Cup, doubles etc. Many Indians play the sport at leisure. So the media does the right thing in covering it.

Why should this be ?????

Why should Tennis/ Wimbledon be Head Line in Indian Media ??.
Indian participation in Singles is just for name sake !!
Spanish, Swiss French/U S Media DOES NOT give Head Line news about Cricket.
India Won the Test match BUT it has NOT been news on French/spanish /U S news papers.
Why Should Federer/Li and Hewitt Hit the rediff head line ??

why not..? tennis is an international sport enjoyed by all, sporsmen like federer and nadal have fans around the world. if India is NOT adequately represented in big tennis tournament does not mean anything. even in football world cup India is not represented but still it has a huge fan following. so it is logical to find tennis hitting the headlines.
