Oflate, we have been hearing so much about Sonia and Ramdev, when I saw the tittle, it was reading as Sonia and Ramdev in Wimbledon. Too much on Sonia nowadays and over dose of Anna, Ramdev and all in the media.

Ha ha ha..that's funny. Millions of other Indians who live outside India apparantly still call them as Non Resident "Indians". Once Indian, it's always Indian. But it may be over your head with your limited ability to understand any such wisdom. so, don't think too much about it. Atleast she is making the Indian flag flying outside India. You probably never even go for Indenpenddence Day parade on 15th August. Grow up, kid!

Do you have any knowledge how immigration and citizen ship works,I doubt very much. I bet you haven't even gone out of your village let alone the country. Marrying some one of a different country does not give one an automatic right of citizenship to either partner.She still hold Indian passport and is an honorable citizen of India and she can stay that way for ever. As for her name she can carry on using her maternal name as well there is no law against using her maternal name nor there is one to dictate that she should use her married name. SANIA IS AN INDIAN CITIZEN.
i live in USA n i think india is progressing becoz of soniaji's european education ........ appreciate her dedication for her husband's country ........

i live in USA n i can understand sania's feelings ........ how much we nri's miss our motherland n how much we wanna do to improve the living conditions in india ....... i appreciate sania's love for her motherland, just like me

Yes they are both Indian citizens. Sania born in India and if she joins politicas she is elegible to be a prime minister just like you are. But sonia is not born in India she has an honorary citizenship ,which can be revoked any time and Sonia can't become a prime minister. Sania is a citizen of India by birth but Sonia is not. Sania's passport can be suspended if there is a requirement for a reason, but Sonia's can be revoked permanently.
sania you are a true indian and making indian proud. all those who claim they are indians and abuse you are not really indians at all but a blot on the name of india...
