Baljit Singh won the best goalkeeper award in the National Games in Ranchi in June, 2011. If he is the best goalkeeper in India, then why is he not playing for the Indian team?

Baljeet just won the best goalkeeper award in national games last month and now he is not fit to play? Why can't we play the best players in our team.
Its because people like Subbaiah have their regional biases and play politics with selection. Now you know why Indian team does not perfrom well?
The moron selectors and administrators have ruined the Indian Hockey for years now. AB Subbiah should be fired and the selection of indian Hockey should be given to ex-players, such as Ashok Kumar, Pargat Singh, and Dhanraj Pillai.
our sportpersons have suffered for long from selfish politics played by individuals in coaching,selection and management of sports in our country.In addition to that,of late ,all sports are run by people who are full-time politicians,which is such an irony,where could an individual sportperson turn to ,for justice,if he/she runs afoul to any such individual.Apart from playing their sport very well ,they also have to be in the good books of such leeches running the sport.One wonders if this will ever get corrected,remember a below-average bowler like Ajit Agarkar getting picked again & again becoz of a certain very influential frien in Team India....alas what can we expect if the greatest sportperson themselves indulge in such favouritism...
