Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia - all are presumably better.

All these teams are expected to win against Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela and Peru while they lost. It's a week-end for underdogs, I guess.

USA was also expected to win FIFA women's and lost for the first time to Japan in the final.

A lesson for Argentina, Brazil and USA who looked way better than their opponents; if you are a better team and fail to score in the allotted 120 minutes, you don't deserve to win as anything can happen in PKs. If you are a better team, better score early and keep the lead or be prepared to get eliminated.

U wouldnt comment like this if u had seen d match...
Messi played Xavi's role and set up numerous chances..
But Higuain and Di Maria wasted all of them...
I blame them both more than Tevez for losing the penalty..

I think u must be the same group of guys who used to criticize Sachin and rate Ponting higher bcos he ddnt win d WC at that time

Messi shd have got Spanish citizenship,as team Argentina is full of selfish primadonnas

What do u know Arif? First of all its FOOTBALL n not soccer...In Uncle Sam's n hence the wannabes only term it SOCCER...Purists will always call it FOOTBALL...So, first get ur basics in place b4 commenting...Messi played well but its wrong to say others didnt...Its just one of those days...I guess Arg was very poor in the midfield and Mascherano's exit also played on their mind...Forlan also fed his fellow Uruguayans well but they too didnt finish well...Lets just accept the better team won
