Nadal contributed to Novaks win......
by Ali M on Jul 04, 2011 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

I am totaly Rafa fan.. but before the match started i had a feeling that Rafa might loose if he played bad on his own serve.. well that came true.. Anyone who watched the match yesterday might agree.. no doubt Novak played his best tennis yesterday like he has been doing this whole season but yesterday Rafa clearly contributed to his win.. there were really great winners from either side ( Novak more while holding his serve)Rafa spoiled the match in first set itself when he was serving in the 10th game 4 games to 5.. In that game Rafa did not serve well and and made easy errors which he hardly does.. that game Novak did not do anything special.. Same thing happened in the fourth set.. Nadal could have beaten Novak if had not done this two mistakes which proved out to be cake on a plate to Novak.. anyways congrats to Novak for winning the title..it depends now whether he will be consistent now or not cause he will be now have a tough draw as he replaces Rafa's position.. Rafa fans not to woory.. the lion will roar again nad this time he wont contibute to his win... Rafa will be back at his best..

Novak crushes Nadal. Nadal is struggling this year
by husshez@rediffmail.com on Jul 04, 2011 10:26 AM  | Hide replies

novak has demolished nadal in all the finals this year. and wimbledon is embarassing loss for nadal. he lost so easily to novak. nadal even struggled to beat roger federer who is past his prime at the french open. federer almost won that match against nadal. it is clear indication that nadal is now struggling and will not regain his top form. his decline has begun. it was only a matter of him. you can't stay 18 yrs old forever. nadal has pushed his physical limits too much over years and now his body is breaking down. he can't compete as well as he used to. it is the end of nadal and beginning of Novak era.

Another whatever. you seemed to be 'really' shocked by yesterday's loss. Lol Get over it. Nadal will only slide from here. Tennis greats have already pointed this out. 'Really' :-)

Tennis is just a game, it does not shock me at all. I take sport as a sport and nothing more than that.

With Nadal and Djokovic cutting Each other, Federer's Tally of 16 Grand Slam Appears Safe now.
Moreover Federer may win another couple of GS Titles.
Djoko's rise will be Federe's gain !!

"Federer may win another couple of GS Titles"

Oh, you used "may" so you are not certain

"Djoko's rise will be Federe's gain"

But that 17-8 record can only get worse.

you pretend to be a very nice man & say a true tennis fan, Rafa fan. Whats your problem if this guy say supporting word for Fed ? Did he ever mention anything against Fafa here ? I know, when nothing else works you bring H2H, a usual thing. How abt beaten 5 times in a row.

Supporting words for Fed with his countless aliases??? Anyone with basic tennis knowledge will tell you that Federer is done with 16.

Nadal is no.2 and Federer is no.3, and they will most likely feature in more semifinals and it could become 20-8 very soon, and how Djokovic's rise will be Federer's gain? Ha ha ha.

How about 16-12 head to head record? How about 10 verses 3 grand slams? How about 16-7 record prior to thess 5 consecutive wins?

Djokovic need to accomplish a lot before even drawing comparison with Nadal. Right now he is having a great year. We will see how long this will continue. Time will only tell.

In this post there was nothing agaist Rafa. Whats wrong if Fedex fan wish he win couple of more GS ?
Novak is 7GS short of Rafa, but did you realize Rafa is still 6GS short of Fed ?
You bring H2H everytime to defend. You realize novak v/s rafa 8-2 in last 10 meetings.., in all surfaces.?

Strongest Nominee..........
by Kd Narang on Jul 04, 2011 09:46 AM  | Hide replies

Djokovic is most likely to be Strongest Nominee for " Laureus World SportsMan"for 2011.
With 48-1 record so far he is actually ahead of Sabastian Vettle of F 1.
Federer has won Four Times, Nadal once , Now it is the time for Tennis again to stamp autority over other sporting events such as F1 Golf FootBall Cricket, Atheletics etc.
He may be Even bag BBC International Sports Personality Award.
Great Going for Tennis in Last 6 Years !!!

the age of supercharged 5 setter Grand slam finals gone...

With these two playing on court, was the highest combined talent ever presented itself simulataneously.

Brilliant Nole

Djokovic surely has cracked the Nadal code. The way he dominated Nadal was simply outstanding. His court coverage and ground strokes were phenomenal. The way Nadal had permanently dented the psyche of Federer, in the same way(may be even better) Djokovic has entered Nadal's mind. Now Nadal will see the ghost named Djokovic whenever he will close his eyes.
Had Federer not beaten Djokovic in French open it would have been very difficult for Nadal to have won it. The men tennis has just got very interesting. There is a very big gap between the top three players (Federer is weakest among three at this moment) and the rest of the gang.
Well done Djokovic you deserved every praise !!
Thanks

Federer would win against Rafa?
Good joke.

All Federer fans can become Djokovic's fans now, since it's only Djokovic that can really beat Rafa even if Djokovic can beat Federer to death in the days to come.

Federer may not win against Rafa. But one point is proven. Nadal will never win against Djoko. Moreover It was the way Nadal lost than the loss itself. Federer have been taking Nadal to 5 setters in all the past finals. Nadal was just clueless yesterday. Even Roland Garros is out of Nadal clutches from now on.

Is it a concidence that to get back at Rafa fans, the Fedex fans have to sing the praise of Djokovic and not of FedUP?Anyway whom should we dedicate Fedex's defeat to (of all people) Tsonga?

i think u forgot something.. tsonga defeated your nadal in australian open 3 yrs back..so getting deafeated by tsonga is not a crime:) now go and relax..i know u r hurted by nadal's loss..but wat to do..just accept that he was not good in the finals..and if u know basic maths, 16>10..so we dont mind if fedex doesnt win any more grandslams..becuase until djokovic is there, nadal cant win anything..its a fact..and i know facts are bitter:)
