I simply cannot gather words to describe Kim's conduct, mental fitness and positive thinking. Not to mention the fabulous forehand and cutting cross-court backhand. She was phenomenal as was Li Na. The asian lacked in mental fitness when it was needed most. Li Na's angled shots made Kim sweat like anything. I watched right thru the 2 hours game (with one of the least number of aces for a final!) and was positively elated. Hope Tennis becomes more popular in India. I personally am fed up of the overdose of cricket. Football, tennis, athletics, hockey... in that order of watch for me!
had li na won then indian tennis fans would have mourned the day.we indians are jealous of any chinese achievements in any sector.india has been playing tennis from the british days, but so far no indian has reached any grand slam final, whereas china entered the tennis scene only in 1997.
Kim played an excellent match. Retrieving some of the balls, even Nadal might have left, she wore down the spirited Chinese into submission. Well done Mom. When a mom can win Grand-Slams, why can't dads? Pull up your strings, Roger!

because his wife delivered double..not single..So he should start playing doubles to win few more grandslams.. lol
Congrats to Kim....Playing against Li was not easy for her,she didn't commit the same mistake as Caroline did against Li,Kim's ground strokes, rally, backhand, forehand, winner was best against Li,this is where experience counts...Li better luck next time.
